Amended Cell Phone Policy

Good Evening Parents and Students,
Beginning Monday, 9/15/2025, the Gateway High School Electronic Device Policy will be amended as follows:
1st Electronic Device Violation, the electronic device will be confiscated by the Dean's office and returned to them at the end of the school day. This infraction includes cellphones, headphones, or any electronic device not permitted on campus based on Student Code of Conduct.
2nd Violation and on will result in progressive school discipline and the parent will be required to pick up the device.
This amendment is in accordance with Page 26 of The School District of Osceola County’s Student Code of Conduct and House Bill 1105 from the Florida State Legislature signed into law on May 30th, 2025.
